Mindtech Montessori School – North Campus

MindTech is an independent, co-educational, open-denominational preparatory school for day students with three beautifully large historic campuses serving the York Region. MindTech was founded in 1996 to spark a life-long love of learning and discovery for each student entering our schools. With a caring family environment of students, parents, teachers and staff, MindTech provides a nurturing community, offering the best possible preparation for life.

MindTech Montessori Schools are much more than schools with high standards of academic education. Music, drama, the arts, sports, recreational and creative activities, science and technology, are actively encouraged and run parallel with academic achievement in order to provide a well-rounded education. We pride ourselves on tradition and a keen sense of moral values. Above all, MindTech is a caring school where the welfare of each student is paramount. Our highly qualified teachers work hard to instill academic and personal confidence, courtesy and good manners into each student.

The philosophy of the school centers on the individual within the community. A nurturing environment exists, with extremely supportive staff and pupil relationships set against a culture of challenge. This helps create a caring, lively, family atmosphere with mutual trust and respect within the school. Amongst the pupils, this ethos produces independence, individual responsibility, and a sense of adventure towards discovery and learning. It equips our students with the skills for teamwork and leadership but also a sense of citizenship and a genuine desire for global understanding.

Accountability and responsibility to parents for their child’s education and progress is of the utmost of importance throughout our schools. We have designed and integrated for each child, continuous internal monitoring and evaluation systems and benchmarks.  This enables our teachers and administration to assist in the child’s progress almost immediately as and when required. These systems are exclusive to MindTech. We strongly believe that our schools and classrooms are the best start and preparation you can provide your child for a lifelong of learning.
