At VOV Academy of Learning and Montessori School, we believe that by providing a safe and happy environment for early childhood learning, we are enabling each child to maximize his or her potential.
We want to provide a stimulating and challenging program that will lead to the full all round development of the children in its care.
The school is the brain child of Dr.Budhendra Doobay, President of Vishnu Mandir. The school was officially opened September 2006. It is fully licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Dr. Doobay’s main goal was for parents to feel safe and secure when dropping their children off for childcare. His vision for the children was for them to be in an environment where they can excel in both the Ontario curriculum and learn about our Hindu religion.
Currently, we offer Preschool and Kindergarten full-time and part-time programs which is ages 2 ½ to 6 years. We are also in the process of starting a Toddler program where the age group would range from 18 months to 2 years. Enrolment for the toddler program is now open.
One star for Food.
No star for staff.Always talk with each other doesn’t care about kids.if they have problem with kids language they re not talking with parents but complained to trustee.
No star for schedule.they only do prayers & free play…nothing else.no yoga no story time nothing.
overall, Not good for kids….They should change school name instead of Montessori school they should keep childcare.
This school is the best thing we ever did for our child. He’s learned more about his religion and culture than we ever could have taught him at home. The teachers are so loving and attentive.
Hot lunches are prepared everyday and a mix of Western meals and Indian meals.
Highly recommended.
This is a great school / daycare with great management team as well as amazing teachers and support staff.
All kids get personalized attention and room to grow. It also focuses on Religion and cultural learning for Hindu kids.
The school is set within a temple that provides positive vibes for the kids and the lunches are provided fresh and very nutritious .
