White Oaks Montessori School opened its doors in September 1989. At that time we consisted of one classroom at our Clarkson Campus a morning class of 7 students. The dream was to provide children with exceptional education while also giving them skills that they could use for the rest of their lives.As each year went by our student and teacher population grew and we opened more classrooms created an afternoon class and a full day class as well as an Extended Care Programme.Next came a shared desire with the encouragement and support of parents to spread ourselves again and include an Elementary Programme. After several years in a very cramped Elementary room we were delighted to acquire and renovate an old farmhouse. In September 1997 we relocated our Elementary Programme and a Casa classroom to the White House Campus.
